Surrey, United Kingdom, (October 31st, 2011) – SmartDebit, a leading provider of payment processing services in the UK, supported The Great Daffodil Appeal earlier this year. The Appeal is Marie Curie Cancer Care’s biggest fundraising event.
The Charity provides exceptional nursing completely free, to help raise the essential funds required for Marie Curie Nurses to continue caring for their patients. In addition to this, they run nine Marie Curie Hospices and carry out important research into the caring of patients with terminal illnesses.
For every new payer SmartDebit signed up to their Direct Debit facilities during the campaign, they donated 1 penny of the transaction fee to The Great Daffodil Appeal. During the campaign earlier this year, SmartDebit managed to raise £478.
