(Edinburgh, February 2012) – Demand for flats to rent in Aberdeen continues to exceed supply with 2012 on course to produce record results, Lettingweb revealed today.
Latest statistics provided by Lettingweb show that across the board, the average time to let out a flat to rent in Aberdeen has decreased in January this year, when compared to the same period last year.
The average time to let out a two bedroom flat to rent in Aberdeen in January 2012 was 19 days, down 57.11% from 44.3 days the previous year, in January 2011.

Not only are Lettingweb’s January results an improvement on the previous year’s, they continue to show month on month improvements too. The average time to let out a two bedroom flat to rent in Aberdeen, 19 days, is also quicker than the previous month, December 2011, by 50.52%.
Lettingweb’s strong showing in Aberdeen is evident in all manner of properties to rent that they advertise. For a one bedroom flat to rent in Aberdeen, the average time to let out in January was 14.8 days, 39.09% quicker than the same period the previous year, and 42.41% quicker than the previous month.
Rounding off the impressive showing is January’s average time to let out 3 bedroom flats to rent in Aberdeen, which at 19.3 days was 60.93% quicker than last year.
