News that will interest developers Abu Dhabi, is that the Italian brand, Cipriani has opened a number of outlets at the Yas Yacht Club in Abu Dhabi in a joint venture with The Destination. In addition to its Italian restaurant, Cipriani also opened a Wine and Bellini Room, its first Japanese restaurant called ‘Yotto’, a cigar lounge, a private members’ yacht club and catering facilities as part of its first ‘lifestyle concept’ development, in addition to the Allure nightclub.

There was also a host of music stars such as Prince, Linkin Park and Fabolous. Mohamed Bin Jabr Al Suwaidi, The Destination co-founder and co-chairman hailed the news as a coup for Abu Dhabi. He said that he was very excited to bring such a world renowned brand to the city, especially given that it had been a pioneer investor in the Yas Island project.
