As specialists in GORE BIKE WEAR™ and GORE RUNNING WEAR™ products, TGSTORE has recently undergone training to be authorised to repair GORE products; although they would previously direct customers to third-parties for repairs, the wealth of feedback and questions they received on the subject prompted them to offer the service themselves. Four TGSTORE staff-members underwent the training, which involved a visit from a GORE technician who demonstrated repairs on the various types of fabrics used in the manufacture of their products, including Windstopper fabrics, GORE-TEX® fabrics, and laminated fabrics. A specialised sealing tape is required for certain fabrics, and this too needed to be demonstrated and understood.
Once TGSTORE has repaired a product, they need to ensure it is still waterproof, and so use testing equipment recommended by GORE. Following this procedure and earning GORE’s seal of approval ensures the GORE-TEX guarantee can be maintained, which includes their GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY® promise.
